Probably gonna look like a numptie here 
I have a SS BB, it's a bit loud for my liking since summer hols are now going to consist of driving places in Britain as bairn is only 11 months old
Is it possible to send the BB away and have it made quieter? .. I know H&S do quiet backboxes. If I'd have known that at the time I'd have bought one of them.
.. but can they make an existing backbox quieter? Or is this inherently expensive and my best bet is to sell the SS and buy something else?
What do you think?

Just a thought,
I purchased a secondhand scoobysport backbox for my sti5 about a fortnight ago and am finding it too quiet, slightly noiser than standard, I think it was one of those specials with the different mesh insert (so i am informed) The box is like new so maybe you would consider a swap??

I already have some Noise Acoustics sound insulation in the boot + some carpet underlay. Basically I am resigned to changing the BB to get the required noise level on a motorway cruise @75
Just so Kevin and I are better informed .. is there any way of telling that Kevin has a quiet H&S system and mine is the normal 'loud' one? Any way of telling just by looking.
