about 10hp...the P1/Sti back box is too restrictive, try a Scoobysport/Hayward & Scott instead far better flowing.

what - 10Bhp in total, or just for the B/box?

I am not convinced even a full decat gives huge gains like some advertise.the removal of restrictions will allow the turbo to spool quicker giving better torque,also the fact that the car breaths better will make it rev clearer.

my own car(MY00) on it's first dyno day gave 136bhp @ wheels and 218 @fly,the operator lifted off at peak wheel power about 5800rpm.the next time fully decatted with K&N panel gave 139 @ wheels and 234 @ fly but I had the operator to rev to 6500 this time,regardless of wheel peak.I am sure this gained me the extra fly power as both graphs showed wheel and fly power very similar at 5800rpm.

the real gains come in driving the car and feeling the difference in the mid range.

The sti/p1 back box is the same as a normal one apart from the tail pipe. Replace centre section and back box with scoobysport items.... yummy sound and useful extra power and torque... you could always try spending megabucks and get a whole system with sports cat from Graham Goode but I don't think it's worth it...

Cheers chaps - it's just as a guestimate.... I know the back box is being very restrictive, but it's for research purposes

Will probably change the backbox anyways, but not just yet
