Had my car less than a week, its a 2000sti, Noticed tonight the turbo is quite noisey when shutting down the engine, like a jet engine unwinding then if i listen with the bonnet up, it sounds like there is a bit of friction on the bearing as the turbo comes to rest. The car has only done 10K miles so could the turbo be on its way out already or is this normal ??

Listen to some other cars with VF turbos on them - they all sound a bit whirry.
