Turbo cut-in is now 500 revs higher up

After fitting a Prodrive BB I've noticed that the Turbo seems to come in at 3.5K revs instead of 3K revs, yet up at speed (say 80mph) the revs are down quite a bit. Is this normal?
Now I know the Turbo kicks in at 3.5K I'm fine, but I'm still a little convinced adding the BB had reduced the power :/
Any thoughts?
