Before I buy some a few questions

Mechanical or electric?

What range for pressure?

What range for temperature?

Cheers Paul

I have "mechanical" for both, but it's up to you. Mechanical versions are cheaper.
Pressure MINIMUM 100psi When cold the oil pressure will hit this figure at 2000rpm - using Castrol RS 10/60 my gauge shows 90psi fully warm at 2500+ rpm
Temperature Sump mounted sender - normal fully warm reading is around 80 - 85C Can go to over 100C in heavy traffic or constant high revs. (track use)

The pressure take off is at the oil press. warning light sender which is under and to the left of, the alternator. Move the throttle cable out of the way and remove the sender. Replace with a Tee - piece. Make sure this screws in at least 3 or 4 turns (tapered thread) or it could leak with all that pressure! Replace the warning light sender and the pressure line fitting into the Tee - piece. Route the pressure line so it cannot chafe! When you start the engine keep an eye on the Tee - piece for leaks.
For the temp. sender you have a choice of sump mounting ( machined sump plug - which is what I did, or block mounting it (removal of the intercooler will reveal an oil gallery plug in the block)

Hi Guys,
I'm about to fit some defi gauges and wondered where you got the tee piece from?...as I would like to keep the oil warning light sender in place.

Defi's are electrical, do not use T Pieces afaik as they use their own sensors.

I know they are sensor driven, but how does that affect the fitting of a tee piece?...the sensor still has to be connected into the engines presured oil system in order to feed back the electrical info so surely a tee piece could be fitted, space providing.

Not sure mate, mine were fitted thru Nito, as far as I could tell the sender runs wires straight up to the Defi control box so no T-Pieces are needed.
