Removing water supply for throttle body - anyone done it?
#1
This appears to just be warming the throttle body (probably to stop it from 'icing-up). I have re routed this now .
Anyone else done this mod??? benefits/downsides??
Cheers

I think the ISC valve has bimetallic spring acting on a 2nd 'flap' in the unit. Its certainly not there just to stop it freezing up.
When this valve is used for antilag purposes and just used as a simple open or closed valve, all the redundant parts like this 2nd flap are removed to increase the airflow.

Yeah. I'll try and think back how its done and let you know. This is the mod you will get when you buy one direct.
Then its just a matter of driving the valve direct either fully open (ALS on) or fully closed (ALS off). Then jack the throttle open 0.5mm to allow it to idle. Increase throttle opening and add cylinder cut to increase ALS affect.
