Question

I've got a '97 STi and I would like an exhaust system or just a back box - can anybody advise me? I'm looking for something with a good sound and to add extra power if poss.

The ones I'm looking at are brands such as Mongoose, Blitz nur Spec R and Firestorm.

Has anyone got any advice and best prices etc?...

Thanks

Scott

You won't go far wrong with a Hayward and Scott, these were marketed by scoobysport, but are now sold by www.scoobyworld.co.uk . I have a Magnex fitted to my car and I'm well happy with it, good looks, fit, great sound and not too expensive

Cool

Agree with a full Hayward and Scott system, which I just got. More power and the sound is just superb, especially when you boot it through a tunnel!

Scott

The development of the new Scoobysport systems was completed last week.

Flow is improved over our old units (development has involved on-car testing and flow bench testing), the sound is the same outside, but it is much quieter inside the car due to much better silencer box wall construction.

Quality is the best I have ever seen.

A new prototype early silencer being flow tested:

Paul, so that people don't get confused, it may be better if you tell them that you work for Scoobyexhausts, which is Hayward and Scott and that you have a vested interest in saying that they are good

Thumbs up

Thanks for all the advice everyone.

I'm find it even more difficult to decide now, but will let you know which one I opt for.

Cheers
