Question

Cam on yesterday, and stayed on all the way (bar 100 yards) to the dealer I was heading for (about 15 miles of A roads), then wnt out.

Dealer plugs in the select monitor and....nothing, no fault code, and zip in the memory.

Real bizarre, anyone any ideas, car feels fine to drive. Just wish I ahd my own select monitor plugged in to the car all the time - at least I could've seen what the probem was!!

Buy a copy of DeltaDash then Seems weird though - CEL should mean at least a stored error code.

Has a similar story after cleaning out the solenoids and boost control stuff.
Solved it by putting ptfe tape around one of the solenoid port entrances. Guess the hose had stretched a bit and wasn't a snug fit any longer.
Perhaps look for loose hoses?

Question

Just had de-cat downpipe fitted. Now full de-cat. On the way home cruising at pretty high speeds on motorway CEL came on twice. Pulled onto hard shoulder and it went out within a minute or so.
I know this happens with the bug eyes, should it be happening on my MY00???
