I've posted this on behalf of Zippy. He's lookin to buy a JW Racing quickshift but would like to have some feedback as to what they're like? What are gearchanges like? Any difficulty finding gears or using when the engine is cold?
Anyone fitted one and got any comments or has anyone fitted the Prodrive version of it? (If you have a Prodrive unit for sale then I'm ya man )

Thanks in advance

Nick

I have the Prodrive quickshift fitted to my MY01.

Whilst the shift isn't silly-quick (now about 3inches between gears), it makes a huge improvement over the standard change.
A worthwhile modification IMO.
You might consider a new gearknob while you're at it as the OE leather jobbie is quite big/long.
