Can anyone comment on these?

GG quote the power gain as only 10bhp for their full system which is 3" straight through. (They do a high-flow downpipe cat also but they say this has minimal effect on power)
Are GG just being conservative here, is it more in line with other systems (say plus 25-30bhp)?

I am looking for a "quiet" full system (boring , I know). Any other systems I should look at?

Thanks peeps.

I have a Graham Goode System for Sale.
It has the Sports cat in the downpipe.
I wouldn't say it was quiet but its not too loud. Sounds how a Scooby should and it doesn't drone on the motorway either.
Its 3" all the way and the downpipe has the fitting for the lamda sensor.
I've only had it for a month or so but now need to sell the car so have refitted the original exhaust.
Mail me if you are interested in a deal.

Regards
Steve

Thumbs up

+ 10 bhp - Perhaps GG are simply being honest, unlike many claims made! More important perhaps is what effect it has on the torque curve?

Hey Folks,

I've got the GGR setup with sports cat on my MY02(US) WRX. It works fantastic. I saw it fitted on another car and loved the sound and look, so I went ahead and picked one up for myself. I also have the GGR Uppipe as well. I dyno'ed 206 awhp and 211 lb/ft on a Dynojet. Stock cars were running approximately 170-180hp on the same dyno. This was with the factory boost control as well. Max torque was just over 3.5k and max hp was at 5.7k. Boost fell off pretty dramatically after that, with a dawes fitted, I'm sure I would have hit in the 220's at about 6-6.5k. You guys sure do get the short end of the stick here in the UK (with regards to performance).

-James
