trax yesterday, overboosting when flooring the car in almost every gear at abt 4.5k revs.

handling was spot on in corners but overboosting meant got killed on straights (even by a saxo!) as limited to circa 120mph before overboost kills off revs.

any suggestions on remedy for this problem. would getrting a elec boost controller rectify it?

my car's a 93wrx.

thanks

If you are happy with the performance and just want to stop the overboosting then try a mechanical boost controller like a dawes - electronic version are expensive and for the same money you could have a tek3, for example. I had the same issue on my car when I got the occasional overboost. For £30 it's worth a try. Do a search on 'Dawes'.
