Hi,

I have noticed on my STi7 that the turbo has started making a more pronounced whine and a bit of vibration between 4-5k revs. it is most noticable when lifting off suddenly after hard acceleration but is aslo present at constant throttle. The car has 4.5k miles on it. It doesn't particularly bother me but I wondered if it was signalling the imminent breakage of something or other.

get it checked should still be under warranty i think.

perhaps a large chunk of wax fell out of your ears?
