Question

Can I ask for advise on the safety (from and engine fueling/ignition point of view) after fitting a decat DP and new backbox. I have an UK MY99 otherwise standard. I will upgrade to a tek 2/3 at somepoint, when funds allow, but would like to know if I'm safe 'til then?

Many thanks

Justin

It is perfectly safe and if all the sensors are working correctly you don't need a knocklink.

Don't think like that - any advise to err on the side of caution is a sensible thing.

A knocklink is always a good idea.
Especially if you like flashy lights

Wink

I remove my pi$$ from your bonfire. As it is his car is safe. If he turns into a nutter like you John then he'll need a knocklink (tongue firmly in cheek)

Mega, as a matter of interest, where are you in Kent? if JB says your car is a "nutter" then I'll hide mine in the garage. I feel a bit of a poor relation with only a DP and BB.
