After spending the last hour researching the threads on d/v & bov, i still need to have a definative answer.

I was at combe yesterday and what a great day, heard lots of scoobs and evos with d/vs.
I want one and am close to forge and PS and want a more chatery sound than bus brake noise.

Question is do they damage my engine. MY99uk full decat and unichip running 1.2bar. Do want to appear max power either.

Info please

Cheers

Rottie

Dump valves dont give chatter. That comes from the waste gate chattering when you are running high boost.

The strongly sprung Forge (and also the HKS SS) make a 'chattery-type' noise if you ease off the throttle with .8ish bar of boost, but still sound like bus brakes if you do a full bore change.
I've run both now...HKS is MUCH louder (wasn't on the car when u drove it John )
