I HAVE DISCOVERED WHERE THE CUT OF VALVE'S ARE THANKS MORAYM BUT I NEED TO KNOW IS THAT WHERE THE RESET SWITH IS? AND WHY WOULD THEY HAVE KICKED IN WHEN ALL I WAS DOING IS A LITTLE ENGINE WORK?THANKS

I wasnt aware that the subaru had a 'cut off' valve???

WELL IVE BEEN TOLD THAT IT HAS MATE AND THIS IS WHY THE DAMN CAR WONT START!!
I JUST NEED TO FIND OUT WHY THEY KICKED IN AND HOS TO RESET? ANYONE PLEASE!!!

4wd imprezas have two fuel cutoff valves in the top of the fuel tank. The service manual is not at all specific as to how the operate and how to check they are functioning... it just shows how to remove and refit them.
