Engine wont idle after ECU replacement
#1
Have just replaced my Link ECU with the standard ECU also removed the lamda link and knocklink from the car. Went to try the car and now the engine will not idle.
I have removed the knock sensor from the engine and removed its wiring. I just unplugged the lamda from the spliced connections and removed that.
Anyone any ideas?

Just replaced the car with the link, everything works ok.
If the MAF was nacked then would this stop the car idling and can I test the MAF is anyway?
A quick response would be appreciated as the car is in bits on the drive

I put the original ECU back, unplugged the wires to the MAF and started the car. The car idled ok but "check engine" light was on.
I replugged in the MAF and tried to start the car and the car wont idle as before.
Does this give any more clues? Is the MAF nacked?
