1st pic': Boost "purge" solenoid (iirc) map sensor, boost solenoid.

2nd: no idea.

3rd: Crank angle sensor.

4th: Oil pressure sensor.

Just out of curiosity, what do DG Rallying actually do.

Mark.

I think the 2nd pic is some sort of diag. socket. Ive seen it on most subarus, strangely enough tho, my 92 UK legacy estate doesnt have it.?? Any other cars I have seen do.

I am DG RALLYING, or should i say that i am a clubman rally driver with a subaru, however i will add that the car is maintained by Brookwood Motor Company in Newbury, Berks as one of my sponsors.

Without any numbering, it's a bit tricky, but I'll tackle the top picture, left to right....

First on left is the MAP sensor, which reads the Manifold Air Pressure for the ECU.
Next (on the bottom) is the boost solenoid (I think!)
Top one is the atmospheric switch. I believe this clicks when the ignition is first turned on to give the MAP sensor an idea of what the gauge pressure (ie absolute - atmospheric) is at the manifold.

I'm sure someone will tell me how wrong I am.

PS, no idea on the other ones!!
