Question

Excuse my stupidity on this one but seen a few things on here in the past that I would like to clear up on the above subject. (Oil change).

1) Do you put 4.5L of oil in your scoob? (including what you fill the filter with) or up to a certain level on the dipstick as I gather over filling can cause damage to some sensor or something??

2) Do u take a plug/lead off and turn the engine over to pump oil round engine first before firing it up? if so how long to you do it for?

3) I got STI Type R, any oil recommendations to use? (sorry know this has been done to the death)

Any info/advice greatly appreciated

thanks

Take the oil filter and sump plug out and let it drain off completely. Then put them back on (new filter of course), and fill it up by 4.5L. You don't have to do anything after that apart from starting your engine...
