Default Map dccd. When to use the maps?

Hi

Bugeye wrx with blob sti swapped engine,
1EA 5speed with dccd and front torsen diff {type ra box}

Just today wired my controller up, looks like I’ve got issues with the centre diff , all flashing lights and beeping on the controller

Manual mode is a no go for me, turning gain set it into limp mode so to speak. Wound gain about half way I’d say and that’s all

So maps 1-4. What driving conditions are they for?

Please dumb this down for me. How does this controller work with braking? Does it help you brake by sending engine braking to front or rear?

Thanks

Did you wire the sensor ground to the ecu as it states in the manual? This can cause feedback and may be the cause of your issue, remove it and wire it to an independent ground instead.

The map dccd does not send braking to the rear or front instead it is controlling the amount of lock on the centre diff due to varying parameters, this could be the amount of braking force, cornering force etc and it has many variables that can all be adjusted according to how you want to set it up. When mine was used on the road I'd leave it in manua all the time, on track I use the various tarmac maps they supply which work really well.
