Default Clutch Recommendations

As above what are peoples personal preferences/ experiences with various brands and styles of clutch. I'm currently in the market for a new one for my wrx 2.5 (running 320ftlb) , i am currently debating the excedy stage 2 (rated to 380ft) or the ACT full ring (420ftlb) 4 paddle and 6 paddle (525ftlb) I know these are overkill however i am thinking of some future proofing.

Cheers AJ

The pink box comes highly recommended. I personally couldn't get on with the competition clutch although there is a lot of good feedback on it.

The 5 speed will not handle the future proofing torque figures you mentioned. But you can use a 5 speed clutch and flywheel combo in a 6 speed if you use the correct starter motor.

Oh I have no intention of going to the 525ftlb I more so mean in case I go over the 380ftlb figure. An yeah I have heard good things about the pink but nothing specific.

wouldn't entertain any sort of paddle plate in a car used primarily on the road personally..........

The issue I’m finding it sourcing a disc type clutch adequately rated. The car is a 2010 Wrx hatch.

I have chosen to go for the competition clutch stage 3 disc type. Very overkill but for the price I will have complete peace of mind.

Competition Clutch stage 2 feels great in my car but it's a 6 speed.
