Default EJ20 excessive crank float

Hi,

Ive stripped my engine down to a bare block and noticed that the crank has been rubbing on the block.

The thrust bearing seems ok and everything felt tight, my guess is it may of been done before it was built as a 2.1 stroker.

My question is, will the block be ok to use again or is it scrap?

Cheers Mike

I cannot see any contact, looks like all the blocks to me, your looking at the machining marks.

Ok great, I’ve got one more picture as well.

It just seemed different to machining marks but I’m new to these Subaru engines.

Cheers Mike
