Default 2.35ltr techie question

Hi,

I've got a 2ltr closed deck block with a Jun 2.2ltr stroker kit, which uses a 79mm crank and 92.5mm pistons to achieve 2.2ltr (actually 2123cc).

To convert to a 2.35, my maths has indicated that all I'd need would be 97.5mm pistons (and a 2.2ltr block or my block re-linered to the same size).

However, I've done a lot of searching and it seems that it's not this straightforward.

Can anyone clarify if it is that simple? Can I utilise my existing 79mm crank and rods and bolt on some 97.5mm pistons, stick it all together in a 2.2ltr block and be away?

Cheers in advance!
