Default Rebuilding gearbox - Sourcing parts

Afternoon

I have a spare gearbox (TY754VN2AA) i am going to split open next week for some machining work and i foresee some parts need changing (damaged gear or syncromesh), are there any go to places for gearbox parts, Subaru themselves, other websites etc?

If there are some websites you've used or know of parts suppliers, if you could pass on their information it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Tom

Hi Don

Used ICP before and they are great for all things jap but no luck on gears or Syncros from them. I could always ask as i see they do stock some new Syncros for the 6 speed.

Subaru should have no issues getting the synchros etc, surely?

The part numbers are listed in the workshop manual, if I recall correctly.

Hi hope you guys don't mind me jumping in.

Got an 02 wrx wagon bugeye. Got a feeling I'm gonna be pulling engine (vf35 turbo off this wkend to go get it checked) ..anyways If i Gotta pull the engine I'll be looking to get the gbox refreshed. But I'm wondering what my options are?
I'll be considering something stronger that can take some stick.. wondering if it's worth stronger gears or dog set or go 6 speed? I'm not clued on this stuff.. with skylines I know what to look for but scoobs bit lost hehe.
