The garage I took it to had problems separating the bearing from the flange, so im thinking they need the flange and bearing but in pressed condition. then that should fit inside the hub. but the bit I don't get is chap there said the hub is no good.... aye??? I said just put the car back to how it was so I can get home after work. this they did without any problem, same noise no worse no better, just glad im able to drive it again. the noise isn't really bad , just minor at the moment and has been this way for 2 years. early attempt at fixing inc gearbox and diff ! 750 quid later still same noise its one of those I think just turn the radio up lol, use the horn as often as possible. thanks for above replies. good to know some one is reading my posts.
