when accelerating through the gears, holds 1.5bar constant even in fourth. now im ok with that, but the problem is, it goes up to 1.9bar in fifth, which i dont want

i understand that the boost depends on the load, revs etc, but this is annoying me.

would an electronic boost controller allow me to keep the 1.5bar through the gears, but also limit the boost to 1.5bar in fifth too?
sorry, not familiar with the capability of the boost controllers

cheers, ian.

Dawes should control it better than that Assuming the wastegate linkage isn't adjusted too short and stopping it opening enough ??

I'd try a Dawes - but you might need to experiment with the bleed hole on that a bit.
