Straight through pipe will just be a bit louder under WOT.
Gives a bit more poke from 5k.
Main downpipe cat will be doing all the cleaning up......

so in other words, 'not much'?

Or are we talking a fair bit of poke?

I was considering the down pipe, is it something I can fit/remove (MOT etc) myself?

DP is the worst part to remove and put back. The centre and bb arent as difficult as they just bolt together. People say the best gain is from the DP but mien is standard and I have a TSL centre and SS backbox and its loud enough for me. I dont want to go any louder but then again the RA doenst have any noise suppression . I didnt notice a great deal of diffrence but then again my centre didnt have a cat anyway but it did go louder and seems to breathe easier and rev cleaner. I am glad I have one as noise wise it finished it off IMHO, you can really hear it on any throttle moment but cruising it "relatively" quiet.
