Clutch rating on oe 2.5 sti clutch
What is the rating of std clutch?
My 06 sti has started slipping now on boost, it's 84k mile on it. So its had a good innings
Car was std 276bhp till Jun 2013 then 330/340 till jun2014 since then it's been 345/395
Car is a daily driver so 90% of time it's driven normally, other 10% it gets a thrash but never track, drag or standing start launches
So do I need an uprated clutch? Or is OE spec be it genuine or exedy up to scratch
Or do I need something slightly uprated like an exedy pink
And is a lightweight flywheel worth fitting no matter what clutch I go for

pink box would be the most cost effective at that level, OE clutch is past its optimum

I think the oem can put up with them sorts of figures but how long it would last would be down to your driving style.
I've got a exedy pinkbox H1 anti judder with lightweight flywheel from Aztec in my hawk.
Pedal feel is just like the oem clutch.
My flywheel didn't make as much difference at I hoped, little bit quicker to rev in neutral and you need to give it more revs on a hill start.

Its a minefield. Ok im going uprated. But on one hand Alyn@AS is telling exedy pink organic will be more than up to the job and that CC clutch isnt as refined then Aztec are saying exedy organic is seeing failures recently and to go for CC
Headmelt!!

Because Scoobyworx have a 10% discount code which I used, plus their retail price is only £364 for the 6 speed kit.

Retail price is £440, their web price is £414.99 for 6 Speed. Maybe you got lucky with a pricing error when you purchased yours.

Yeah that's ok I will do that, when I come to collect it I shall expect lots of interest on it
Reason I asked was because I keep getting told that I need a paddle clutch for such power, i think alyn@asperformance said something similar aswell, my car has a 6 paddle clutch at the min and i hate it

It looks like the price has gone up but you can still get 10% off with their discount code, it looks like I had the bargain of the year.

Thinking about it im sure alyn@asperformance mentioned extreme clutches that he was having success with aswell. Anything has got to be better than this rattling paddle clutch and looking like a **** - jock at the traffic lights revving and juddering away..............oh the shame

395 torque isn't worth the risk on an OE clutch mate

Well I paid £364 less 10% last Friday, although the price appears to have been amended in the meantime.
Even with the new £414.99 price you can still get a 10% discount.
