Default Rick @ RE Motorsport.

Big thank you for spending ( all day ! ) sorting a few problems with my car.

Ground away sub-frame to clear headers, and sprayed black.

Ground/filed away flange on headers (£800 ) supplied with a banana'd flange on the nearside, no wonder they leaked

Ground away bell housing to clear new turbo.

And fitted new up-rated engine and gearbox mounts.

And a big thank you to Steve for the coffee and putting up with my waffle !

Thanks Rick

Well as the supplier has blanked me....

They are GT-Spec three-bolt headers with ceramic coating.

Many people sell them and apparently never had ANY problems....

So I'm just unlucky, I thought it was my diy skills that were the problem !

Not happy !

Looking for a new parts supplier now !

Well another instalment done !

Exedy clutch and quickshift plus some nifty welding to MAF housing and a new K&N air filter all done.

Thanks to Claire, Rick and Stevie ( ta for the lift ! ) at RE Motorsport.

Just a re-map, MOT and suspension and she's done !

not mentioning any names dunx, but i bet i can hazard a guess at who the supplier was.proberbly the same supplier who has never had a problem with his silicon turbo hoses.just so happened that mine was sucking in on boost.so its not just you that is unlucky, looks like i am too.

i did mate took them to an engineering company we use at work, they ran a milling cutter down it and re tapped the thread, i was very lucky they sorted it, didn't fancy having to buy a new caliper as i have got brembos on now

what power and torque you hoping for when you get it mapped after running it in

480 = Jealous !

PF are recommended by me ! Although Godspeed may be cheaper as they warranty stuff for a year, even if tracked !

got the pf ones on the front but they have been on for the best part of 3 year now and the discs are just knackered.must say they have been good brakes but i need the rears doing aswell so its going to be a costly thing.any chance of lending a poor man some cash dunx.
