Default Has anyone bought a car from JCT 28??

Just wondered if anyone has bought or looked at any cars at JCT 28 and if so,what you all thought of them,as they have an Impreza i am interested in.

I know they really only used to deal with Fords but they seem to of branched out a bit.

Anyone????????

Had a look at a mint Mercedes SL280 a few years ago, and when test driving they said that soemone else was intrested and if I didnt buy it that day, it would be gone, cut a long story short, I thought he was bluffing and come back a few days later with the money for it to be sold!!!!!!

But have heard some bad reports about them, but Ive been there a few times and have found them to be quite helpful and most the cars to be quite clean.

Mate bought a saphy cos from them some years ago and had nothing but truble with it. Over 6 months it was there more than he had it and over the months all the mods tha he'd bought with it on like carbon heat shieds and covers etc disappeared whenever he took it back.

Wouldn't use them miself ut maybe they've changed.

Just an opinion it seems others have had good experiences with them.

Like any place they will get good and bad cars, if you know what you want at the price you want it then fine however from what I have heard I would tread carefully.
nb. My old S1 was sold from there for 6k same price i sold it for 7 years later so they cant be all that bad.

ok ive had a few beers i'll tell you straight,
i have been up there probably 6 or 7 times over the last 5 years....the facts are i would stay away.
The guy "steve" who owns it, is a muscle bound arogant git,the cars are over priced and if you dont know what you are looking for you will be stung, that simple.

It was the silver one mate, but as i say, they are very vague as to what has been done, and by who, which is a concern in itself for a company supposedly specialising in performance cars .........................i know if it was my business,i would try to know everything about every item in "my" stock so i could ensure i was knowledgeable to any potential customer

I always laugh when I see comments made about this company.

Just for the record....

I have previously bought 2 Escort Cosworth's and 1 RS500 Cosworth from this guy. All three cars have been very nice cars, when ever anything ever went wrong he fixed it immediately (under the warranty period). Whilst others may not like his attitude, he does tell it the way it is.

In fact one of my mates has just bought a mint RS Focus from him.

Would I use him again...... if he had the right car in that I wanted, Yes!

I appreciate some cars may not be to everyones liking, but you only buy what you want to buy.
