Default Scott lowe Bonnet Dampers--Heeeelp!

Hi,

Got my scott lowe bonnet dampers through today from a group buy, and fitted them. but, and i know this sounds silly, but my bonnet wont close, the dampers won't damp down, and if i push down any more the bonnet will come off the hinges.

Any ideas people...

Thanks for any help..

have you bolted the top bracket into the right hole on the bonnet ?
when we fitted the first set to my sti,the bonnet was very stiff,so we bolted the dampers into the lower hole of the two and it worked fine

yes, i've bolted the bracket on the 2nd hole down, where the original bracket is?
But the bonnet just won't budge

Is there a different procedure for classics or something???

Thanks for the quick reply!
