Main Dealer Serive?
My cars due for its 6 Month Serivce.... (MY99 UK T reg)
ive done 78K miles, however becuase of time its due for the 90K service! this apparantly will set me back £600!!
after just having a new gearbox funds arnt at their best! Ive always had it done at my local dealer but this service seems to take the P**S!
agreed i can prob wait 6 months or so for the Cambelt to be done?.. down to £420ish now, but is it really worth having it all done? i mean its out of warranty so would a Normal Full service do?
Are there any subaru specialist local to me (Stafford) ie within 50miles.
any help / thoughts appriciated, its booked in this week so if i need to cancel need to move asap! Ontop of the service bill ive got have a new badge,new fog light and theres sumat up with wheel bearing or something in that region! oh and 2 new tyres...!!

Cheers might give them a ring... cancelled service with main dealer as its silly money and cant afford this month...
Will get it done elsewhere, its not like its under warrenty and i dont recon it will effect the value of the vehicle if the 90K service is done by a specialist /other garage. Could prob do most of the oil changes involved myself and change the air filter / plugs etc.. not exactly difficult stuff... brakes dont need stripping as newish ones on there.. gearbox is 2months old so thats ok!
