Newbie here: midlands dealers?
Hi all! I've been lurking on these forums for some time now, and have decided to take the plunge soon! Im looking to buy a new WRX from a local dealer - the two nearest are Oaken Garage near Wolverhampton, or Hylton of Shrewsbury. Anyone got any experiences with either of these places that they'd like to share? Many thanks!

neither sorry mate, but welcome to scoobynet
theres plenty of place around the midlands, just do plenty of shopping about as its a buyers market for used cars at the minute.
could try www.scoobyclinic.co.uk they usually have a good selection of cars up there, plus there pretty handy when it comes to servicing and mods etc, if you ring ask for adam or kev.
hope that helps.

Don,t even bother with Hylton of Shrewsbury. Complete bunch of cowboys.
Oaken is best bet. Go see Monty is showroom. In all honesty never heard a bad word about them. Its run like a family concern.

If Hylton in Shrewsbury are the same as the bunch in Worcester, don't waste your time. After the way I've been spoken to today I won't be going back there again!

I wouldnt bother with Oaken in Wolverhampton, complete waste of time, id rather drive a extra 100mile then to go there, they would be friendly when you am buying a car off them but when you need anything from the parts department youll see what a waste of time they really are.

If you're going to speak to anyone there, ask for Brian or Stuart
