Exclamation

Charlie is the service director @ KT Green 284 3535. Personally I never had any issues with the service, but when I got a MY01 from Belgium I went to TSL.

I have just chopped the S3 for a STi8 PPP in black so keep your eyes open 1K service booked on Saturday in Warwickshire!!

Ever since I got my scoob I've used Robinson's in Rochdale. Had good service and they are more resonably priced than any of the local dealers.

thanks fellas, I'll check them out.

anyone had any dealings with Well lane turbo centre for servicing ??

I bought the car from him 6 months ago and he told me his "stamp" on the service book was just as good as Subaru main dealer.

he says he will charge me £140 for the 22500 service

Just got off the phone to pulleyns.. seemed a nice guy in the service dept.

I asked him "what oil do you recommend" and he said "magnatec"

now.. correct me if I'm wrong , but I thought that my 01 WRX shouldn't be on baby food any more and should be on fully synthetic.

His reply to this was that fully synth is "NOT" recommended for these cars.
anyone know any better ???

Subaru used to recommend Shell Helix + which is Semi Synthetic. My Turbo has had all but one service done at FR Pulleyn (MY00 30k miles) and it runs fine. There used to be problems with running Scoobs on a certain viscocity of Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic.

Cheers,

Ian.

My 95MY wagon has been serviced since new at Robinsons, they recommend Shell Helix on mine and newer cars.

Hope this helps.
