hi mate
remap by "Mr Motorsport" Rich Bulmer, TSL "Thundercat", Centre decat and Group N. TSL Green Filter, FSE fuel pump.
Recorded a tidy 322.2 lb/ft @3710 rpm and 329.1 BHP @6000 rom at ProSport in Stockport last saturday
Now after a tiny tweek runs a more marketing friendly "Triple 3"
333 BHP and 333lb/ft

Nice figures.
333ft lbs torque
I only got 312ft lbs at Well Lane last month MY03 JDM WRX STi with Milltek centre, backbox and modified oem downpipe along with a re-map.
Damian.

Prosport run a brand new, certified Bosch dyno. They also know how to use it. I would hazard a guess that it's as accurate.. or otherwise as anyone elses
A WRX with Turbo that Rich mapped scored 312 BHP at Power Engineering last week with "The most linear power delivery that they had seen". So 329 from an STI is probably fairly realsitic
cheers

Gordo - pics to follow, but its been a busy week, after TSL on Thursday, was back in Reigate that evening, then off to Devon on Friday morning, then Cornwall Saturday and then back to Reigate on Sunday... the car is filthy!!

Damian thanks for that.
321 bhp with a modified OEM DP
If you replace the DP and get her back on the RR can you let me know the result please? I'm currently looking for a JDM Twin Scroll car and will be going for a similar setup.
How does she go with the shorter gearing?
Nathan..

& THERE WAS I THINKING THAT TSL DIDNT APPROVE OF ROLLING ROADS
APPARENTLY "HOW IT DRIVES ON THE ROAD IS A MORE ACCURATE WAY OF JUDGING HOW GOOD A CAR PERFORMED" WAS THE QUOTE THAT SPRINGS TO MIND

Nathan,
The problem with going de-cat is that there are very few twin scrolls about. That means I would need to have a specially made up downpipe i.e. expensive and followed by that a re-map. You are then looking at £1,000 plus pounds for say an extra 20bhp!
If I am gonna do anything I think I will talk to Ian Litchfield (whom I bought the car from) as I understand he has fitted a 2.5 US STi engine. Couple that up to a de-cat.
The short gearing is okay. Taking a bit of getting used to, always finding I need 3rd gear instead of 2nd gear on a five speed.
p.s. Bob Rawle has the same car as me and is using it as a project so keep an eye out as to what he is doing.

Rusty.. thats still true.. but we needed to advertise a figure.. and the ASA are funny about retailers proclaiming figures that don't have basis in fact..
We ARE building a rolling road.. simply because the number of maps we are now doing and the type of WRC cars Richard is now contracting out on mean that it's no longer viable, responsible or safe to map this type of stuff on these solely on public roads.
There still is no substitute for final throttle mapping on her Majesties highway.. the WRX dynoed above shows that
