do a quick search m8, there's loads about the Godspeed kits. There's been at least a couple of threads in Wheels & Tyres in the past fortnight.

Good bloke, one man band, so there can be a small delay, but, he who makes them, also answers the phone sometimes, so he can answer most queries instantly!!

Very satisfied 335mm kit user!!!

Thumbs up

very good kit, had extreme disks off him about 4/5 years ago, for the rally car, excellent no warping and no wear either! even the zinc coating is still intact, and i've gone thru dozens of sets of pads.

phone Ian rather than emailing though.

I was very pleased with my 335mm Impreza kit (and it's resale value). I am waiting to see what Ian can do for an Octavia now.

Scoobydan , What has it got to do with you ? I spoke to John(the customer) this morning who said he has not spoken to you for a couple of weeks and didn't know about your replies , so why don't you speak to him and stop it ??

Cheers Ian

Thats what he told you ! So you don't fu*k up the kit cos you got some bad feedback....
So are you trying to ensure that he gets a fu*ked up kit then?

PS: always been happy in my dealings with Godspeed

I have read good feedback, and some bad but IF I were in the market for a new set of brakes I'd definately consider Ian/Godspeed as he seems to give a damn about the customer and appears to bend over backwards to correct any errors/problems.

I personally would go to him and get them fitted though, to make sure alls well there and then (and I'm lazy!).

Give the one man band a brake , no , I give out the brakes .

Me and the customer who ordered the kit have no problems with the kit on order , only scoobydan which it has nothing to do with , But thanks anyway for stepping back and letting us get on with it

There are two things here for me. The first is the product and the second is the service.

I didn't get on with the Godspeed brakes - personal preference. I prefer a gradual braking effect, Godspeed stuff stops you dead in its tracks.

but.

Ian Godney does provide a decent level of customer service and will do his upmost to ensure things are right.
