Bulldog, Twyford - New Dealer - anyone used yet?
#1
Had a 52.5 K done there a few weeks ago. They were ok but did not clean the car, or fix all of the niggles I had. They also seemed very reluctant to do anything under my extended warrenty. oh and charged me for 2 new bulbs that I did not need. Oh and they were expensive
All in all not a patch on Lancasters i would say.

Hi all
Need a service, Mill Lane Engineering have GONE - Lancaster at Pangbourne have GONE ...... now my next nearest dealer is at Twyford - Bulldog Service Station to be exact.
They have been a Subaru Dealer for 10 weeks and I need some confidence, anyone used them?
Honest opinions please
Pete

Thanks Andy - its the 52.5k service I want doing, they want £132.
The next one is the BIGGIE at a quoted £771 !!!! Holy ****!
I would think that they WOULD be reluctant to do warranty work being a Subaru dealer for just a few weeks .... IM don't thank dealers for claiming warranty work!!
Simpsons of Swindon is the other option?! Where I actually bought the car!

Pete,
Just booked in for my 60K at Bulldog... quoted me 517.29 inc. VAT!
I'd used Lancaster until recently also and had been well happy with their service... they'd even collect and deliver which eveidently noone else round here seems to do !
Lemme know how you get one anyhow...

I would - BUT I have an extended warranty to think about!
That price above for 60k service must be without the cambelt then? I need the cambelt doing on mine at 60k! I think?

I know what your saying about your extended warranty etc, I did also have another 9months remaining on mine but to be honest for what you can actually get done under extended warranty its not worth the paper its written on, and you can save huge amounts of money by not going to a subaru dealer but a trusted small firm like subaru4you etc..
Just my thoughts, I suppose it depends on how long you have left on your warranty etc
