A suspicious first post from a long time owner and part time lurker…
I’m another Lancastrian(?) left stranded by their imminent closure. Been a customer for seven years, and have somehow learned to trust their thorough (yet relatively pricey) Service Dept.
However, I had a very positive visit to CCV (Witney) today, that definitely justified the extra mileage. Attentive and friendly staff who took their time to satisfy my motoring fetish (and there's some great little 'B' roads in the surrounding area!).
I would certainly recommend them to the rest of the frustrated West Berks/East Wilts/South Oxon massif who don't fancy the obvious alternatives
Kudos to Conrad at Lancaster – I hope he finds a company that deserves him...

Try CCV near Witney, much nicer guys and cheaper too for services etc. They have a more "family-run" feel. Yes I realise it is further for you guys to travel, but I live not far from Wallingford and think it's worth the trip.
Had a bad experience at Pangbourne, but I suppose you guessed that
Added to say all IMO of course..

Hi Guys,
Looks like the replacement Dealership is over in Twyford.
Have a look at This thread. as a few of us were discussing it earlier.

Sad for the guys in the Service department - Conrad & Steve especially for sorting out my MY99.
They were let down by their Sales & Management though - lots of posts about poor aftersales, even one where a salesman called a customers wife "a very rude word" in writing!
I had an unhelpful response & only got my car sorted after I could prove they had lied about the condition of the brakes to their own company chairman.
