Dealer in Suffolk
#1
Moving to Southwold area, was using Days at Chelmsford (great sales and service. But distance is to far, so is it Osborne at Colchester or Greenways at Norwich, or is there a dealer in Ipswich, only got 2001 dealer list and nothing on web site.
Which one is the most helpful?

Try the Scoobycity BBS. They are an East Anglia based Scooby club and will be able to give you some advice on the best dealer to use in the area.

There is deffinately not a "main" dealer in Suffolk, altough there may be a well respected independent, which I am sure the nice guys at sccoobycty will be able to advise you on.
As for Osbournes in Colchester, I use them, have never had a problem, but have never been bowled over by knowledge or efficiency etc.

Wot Andrew said.
No dealer In Ipswich - in fact I had a conversation with osbornes when they first opened (4 years ago) as a Subaru Dealer and the bloke claimed then they had first refusal on any Ipswich dealership.
I use ScoobySport for any major work on my MY95 currently.

I'll put my 10p worth in the pot....
Bought my P1 from them, and they have been superb.... very helpful... talking to a few engineers there.. they certainly know thier biscuits.
I thought the dealers in chelmsford, had young 16 year old's working there, who enjoy a good thrashing in your mowtah?????

Like i said nothing but praise for them at days and did ask the question about his age (told he was 19) when i saw him come back off the 3 min test drive or was it less than that between seeing him leave and return.

Have never had too many problems with Osbornes, bought my RB5 WRSport from them over a year ago, really helpful at the time!
Wrote this off in an accident in November last year, went back to Osbornes, told them the situation and that i was interested in a P1, 3 days later, recieved a call saying they could get one for me!
The main reason for going back was that i had a gap policy that i bought from them that had to be used in that dealer. Once Tesco paid out for the RB5 Osbornes let me take the P1 even though they were still waiting for a £4k cheque from the other insurance policy!
