I used them about a year and a half ago when my car was running on three cylinders due to burnt up splitfire plugs. They were very conservative with the time they charged considering how much time and effort reseting boost and fueling to factory spec went into the job. They even fitted my induction kit properly after the cowboy job I did in the first place.
They get a thumbs up in my experience with them.

I don't use a main dealer I use an independent garage for servicing. They are Martin and Griffiths, on the Pennsnet Trading Estate. One of the partners is on his third Scoob so knows them pretty well. They use all genuine parts delivered from Showells but charge less than dealer labour rates. When I had a sensor problem Showells gave them access to their diagnostic equipement. Martin and Griffiths aren't a Subaru specialist, they were recommended to my dad several years ago and since then we have both used them for servicing work because we appreciate the excellent and honest service we recieve.

Not had any bad experiences with Showells in the past,as all the dealers in this area qre quite freindly, you could always try Oaken in Wolverhampton as an alternative, may not be too much of an idea to suggest Cutlers of streetly, as think they are in process of closing as the site is sold for housing shortly.
