Mail Order Octane Booster - who's cheapest?

After finding some Millers Plus at my local Discount Motorists shop - at £3.50 a bottle (
) I went in search on the 'Net and found a Mail Order Supplier charging £2.22 + VAT a bottle - a little more reasonable.
However, I wasn't told of the £8 delivery charge (plus VAT) or the 75p Credit card surcharge - which brought the total up to £3.67 a bottle!
I've emailed them and have had no reply so far - even offering to buy more if they can sort out a deal - but no reply so far, which is a little off as I think they have a good reputation.
So where do you buy your Millers/NF from and how much?

I buy mine from a local small dealer in Bradford. Last time it was £30 for a box of ten so £3 each. I can live with that

as the main north Miller's Oils competition stockist we should be able to help you out.........we charge £29.99 for a box of 10 with no hidden credit card charges!!

the problem you've got is that i believe from previous enquiries that the post office (which would be the cheapest option) will NOT deliver this type of product and most other couriers charge something like £7.50-£8.50 - if you were prepared to buy more in one go then obviously the cost/bottle would be greatly reduced

You'll find that this thread has been unnecesarily moderated. 
"Libellous comments" relating to why I have now withdrawn the sale of NF from my company being the (stated) cause.
Moderation at it's worst and certainly at its most damaging.
Shaun, I sent you details as to why what I had said was not libellous (as I had said nothing defamatory about anybody) yet you have still seen fit to edit my thread.
Nobody doubts that its hard moderating, but you got this one way wrong and it was unnecessary.
Put my comments back or I will simply remove the whole section, r alternatively please explain your thoughts on why you thought what I said was libellous?
It's a sad day, the first thread I've ever had moderated and I've been contributing here for over 4 years!

I thought the thread was quite enlightening and very interesting.
If, as it looked to me, the comments were backed by facts then why was it removed????
It looked that the topic being discussed was something that needed clearing up.

And, you don't even run a banner advert.

I made no comments about any product, other than I had withdrawn it due to the stated concerns, there were no grounds or any need to look at comments made as being libellous or otherwise.
I'm entirely happy for you to post my e mails (IN FULL) between myself and Shaun on this matter. As happy as I would be for any 'complainer' to send me a cheque contributing towards the cost of the testing carried out?
None of the e.mails would be damaging to my company?

I was contributing here before you had even heard of Scoobynet Simon!
Some do have a corporate slant on occasion, please do not forget Simon, that I was one of the companies who bought (literally) Scoobynet 2 back to life. (There was a page showing who had aided in this a while back but that's "disappeared" to make room for Scobyshop)?

I know you were supporting scoobynet since before I knew about it. You then started scoobymania which (i think you would agree) gained the majority (if not all) of it's original work from scoobynet.
You do not now have a banner advert, although we would be delighted if you would like to support us in that way so you can continue to enjoy the commercial benefits of the community.

There is no question that what you posted in the post that was removed was potentially libellous, no matter what is said now. Imagine if the tests you had done were not even for the product in question (for example).
ScoobyNet has supported your company for a long time now Mike, I'm so surprised that you would cause a big stink about one of your commercial posts being removed when it was (let's not play game) potentially damaging to a competitor of yours and advertised your own products - when you don't even run a banner advert.
Why should the rules be different for you?

I have had no reports back from any of my customers saying that NF was 'damaging'.
Neither had that been implied by me at any point. Had the posts on this not been "moderated" this would have been clear for all to see.

If I remember rightly the thread said that somebody had found millers to be better than NF and that was a preference for them, thats all.
So in summary,
neither is damaging.
Some people find NF better
Some people find Millers better
and there may be scientic research to prove either out there somewhere !
