Anyone Recommend Midlands specialist
#1
Can anyone recommend a specialist in the West Midlands for servicing etc on a UK model.
Just had a new crank oil seal replaced by Carstins in Balsall Common, not impressed with level of service. They didn't clean the original leak and weren't bothered when i complained about the burning smell/smoke.
Any recommendations, as always much appreciated.

We're a bit further across (Nottingham) if you want to come this far, we're doing exactly that job on an STi 5 today.
Edited to say..... when I say exactly, I mean not including the cleaning the original leak, burning oil and being bothered bits.

My advice is Roger Clarkes just West of Leicester they do rally cars etc & no the scoob inside out, i have used them 4 a number of mods & i'm thinking of using them insted of Carstins 4 my next service as while i have nothing against carstins they have demonstrated less expertese & while they give a nice subaru stamp in me service book especially with the 90k service being so big i think the fact that Clarkes hourly rate being significantly lower than Carstins will win me over As i say thou they cant do enough 2 help out explain & do the best 4 u & yer car! That's my experiance anyhow & i no many other with STi type R's etc who use them & have done for years!
Si
PS will try & post their webby later but can b a little tricky 2 find 1st time but i can direct/show u where they r if u like? (any excuse 4 a drive)

mus,
they used to be Toyota (several years ago) and did my MR2 at the time. How convenient when they changed to Subaru just before i got my Impreza
As well as good servicing and pricing, they have done loads of "little things" that make a difference.
