There is good and bad in any business but I reckon ALL Subaru dealers win my vote for being utter bob when it comes to customer service, and EVEN worse than that when it comes to actually knowing anything about the car, and I am talking on a technical level.
ERRm how do we build a gearbox again Clyde??

After reading so many posts concerning poor dealer support, I think it's only fair to highlight the excellent service that I get from Mainland Subaru - Widnes. My car, StiV7, has been into the dealership 3 times - twice for the rear suspension rattle and recently for the PPP. On each occasion everything happens just as it should and product knowledge is spot on - before I owned my Subaru I drove a BMW and whilst admittedly the dealer service was good, it certainly did not better Mainland. So there we go - my vote goes to Mainland... how about you?

Oaken Garage Wolverhampton, nice small Dealer, Family Buisness, so got time to talk to customers, excellent service dept,no hassles, even spot faults before I do and put them right..

Can only comment on purchase service so far (picked up my first Subaru a week last Saturday).
Got it from Beechdales in Nottingham and can't fault the service they have given so far and the pricing they did for me and my trade in.
Would certianly recommend them to others (as others did on here which got me in touch with them in the first place, they are not my local dealer but were way better on price and had the car in stock).

T.H.White, Cirencester, bought the car from them, did me a special taylored service due to ultra low miles (when they could have ripped me off), very knowledgable and customer focused. Worth the 140 mile round trip for me.

Mainland are quality,they are by far the best car dealership i've dealt with including any other brands,BMW were good but they are way short of Mainland Subaru (Widnes Cheshire).
Danny isnt too bad to deal with either.

Beechdale in Nottingham.
Gavin for sales - made me feel like I was getting a good deal, nice guy to boot, despite being Trouser's brother-in-law! lol
Tim for aftersales - always helpful and quoted best prices for fitting my mods.

Best off going with an independent specialist like Power Engineering, RC, TSL, Jap Inno, or Prosport etc
Dealers have had the money for the car, now let someone who knows about Subaru's look after it. I wouldn't trust any main Subaru dealer to service Jack ****

Excellent service all round, and would even budge on price when the money-grabbing new dealers woudln't.
