With the Oil Companies selling only 97 RON SUL, what advice will Subaru UK give to those owners who have just had a Prodrive Performance pack fitted ?

Will the ECU's be re-mapped for 97 RON ??

we've all been wondering this..

I see it as unlikely to be honest. the ECU is as shipped.

I doubt the prodrive ECU is mapped to-the-limit like the PE or Link (can) be..

I can see scoobymania selling a whole load of knocklinks !!

Remeber that the Prodrive literature says that the car should be run on 98 SUL for maximum performance BUT it can re run on 95 SUL anyhow. This would result in less performance but surely if it can run on 95 then 97 is no problem?
