Just a quick thanks to Graham and Paul , and the other staff @ TSL for setting this up. It was good to be able to talk to the representatives from Motec, Eibach, ITG etc.. and some really good deals to be had on the products.
Thanks for the food and informative day, I'll be back up soon for the next few bits.

Got to agree a great day and quite informative to!
There were even cheese with pickled onions on a stick!
Good to see some new faces to put to Scoobynet names as well.
TSL did a blinding job of informing, entertaining and supplying bits for people's cars.
Thanks guys for a good day!

Nathan - strange how your car was already there @ 8am when I arrived! Looks sweet on those speedlines.
Tony - I believe Graham (from TSL) did discuss this at length with the man from ITG - you'll need to talk to him to get more info.
I think the bottom line is, if the filter is fitted correctly you should be no more at risk than if you have the OE filter (i think).

Nothing new to add really other than confirm all of the above.
Travelled up the M1 to have a nosey and a chat, maybe even buy a set of pedals..............left with a WRC front splitter, forge dump valve chirping away from under the bonnet and by mid afternoon Monday had just handed Trouser my credit card details for a set of 18" Diablos.
Great day guys!
(Wheels arriving next Tuesday - furiously excited!!)

Nathan - yeah, she does a bit... hmmm... I just have to grin and bare it until I've done the house buying thang, and then start again!
Those Speedlines look very nice thou, I think a little nicer than the Prodrive/OZ wheels.
Trouser - I'll be intouch soon re. '02 Eibachs and have started saving for the brake kit mate.

Alex,
Does this mean there'll be a set of Prodrive springs going cheap (assuming from the part no. they fit a WRX saloon as per SUK website and my insurance isn't stupid about them)? I'm thinking of a spring change (from std ) and geometry check etc.
I was at TSL for the open day but didn't know many faces apart from Rum, Graham and Trouser (how could anybody not spot him from the voice )...
What was the name of the lass from Eibach as there's a couple of things I'd ask her (spring related of course )?

PS thanks to Paul and the rest of the crowd for a good day - couldn't you have had a word with Him upstairs about the weather
PPS if I have my springs changed, can I have a go in the new courtesy car - it'd be a shame to let it stand idle...

Trouser - tart
Apple - yeah my prodrive springs will be going, I'm booked in on the 12 Dec '02 to have the Eibach's fitted, the Prodrive springs will go up for-sale then, I was gonna ask for circa £95 for them.

Yeah if you were nice to Nikki during the day you got some freebies!
I now have on my desk a sping pen holder, an Eibach keyring and an Eibach branded "Hot wheels" car (made by Mattel ironically enough)!
Well worth the visit just for the goodies!
