Anyone know of any decent private plate site other than newreg.com?

Thinking of a new plate on my P1 - already seen -

P1 6SUB & P1 9SUB for £245
P1 JSN (My names Jason) for £800

Also after something like

P1 JAY
P1 JMC etc etc

It's best to try http://www.dvla-som.co.uk first as you'd be surprised how many numbers shown on the other sites are still for sale by the DVLA, and for quite alot less.

Alternatively, you could always buy P1 YOB off me

How about buying my JAS 2** from me. Its dateless and you could keep it forever rather than leaving it on the car when you sell it.

But DO check the DVLA site first. Companies like newreg etc always list a shed load of plates that are still available from DVLA. A friend of mine enquired about a plate, and was quoted £800, yet she found it on the DVLA site for half the price.

The DVLA site is good -

Was looking at P1 JSN for 800 quid and found P1 1JSN for 250 which isn't bad!

I agree Josh mate was quoted £1000 for P** WRX and I gave him the DVLA web address and he bought it for £250.
