Question

Can anyone recommend a garage in the Bristol Area to use for servicing MY96 WRX Import. I have been using Protec in Nailsea and have not had a bad experience yet just always looking for alternatives.

Tazman, haven't any experience with garages yet only had the scoob for a month. But it is now due a 45,000 cam belt service. Any idea what Protech charge for one of these?
There not exactly local (I live t'other side of Bath) the other option for me is David Hendry cars just north of Chippenham. They quote £350 for this service. But if Protech are cheaper and you think they're ok, I might give em a go.

Question

Tazman thanks for checking the price for me I jumped at the £120 major service bill. However when I called to book it I just asked that it did include the cambelt and they said "Oh the MAJOR, major service" .... £350 quid was the price. Bit concerned that other people may be getting services done and not checking that the cambelt has been replaced. So if anyones had a 45k service done by protech and only been charged £120 I doubt if the cambelts benn done.
I'll be taking mine to David Hendry cars - tis a bit closer and the same money. Cheers for yer help.
