After having a big fall out with that miserable cow at Tileys i shant be giving them any more of my business......

I'm asssuming the "miserable cow" you refer to is the service reception girlie?
She's alright really but you need to speak to either Phil the service manager or the head mechanic blokey (Dave I think). They're both very decent chaps who know a lot about Imprezas and won't **** you about.
I get most if not all of my servicing work etc done there and can't recommend them enough.

Just ask the girl if you can speak to Phil if you want to talk technical about your car.

Cheers chaps,its not the receptionist, it was Nicks sister(part owner)i purshased a battery there on Friday,mine was dead.Because they turned the engine off to test it,the new battery was dry and they wanted £15.00 to fit it,so i did it my self(as you do)and she got a right pi55 on when she saw me fitting my own battery in the carpark(doesnt look good she said)....

My 60.000 service is due very soon and im not taking it to Tileys,any sugestions ????

what about protech at nailsea i've never had any service done there but they made up a speedo adapter for me and were quite helpfull

You don't say if your cars under warranty but if not try David Hendry Cars in Malmesbury (north from J17 M4). Ex main dealer, they know their stuff and are honest, if a little brisk

There is a guy in Wooton-Under-Edge who specialises in imports, I don't know if he does UK cars but may be worth a try.

Can't remember the name of the company though sorry...

I don't have a problem with Tileys but I am 200 miles away from a 45k service and wandering if I should try somewhere else...

Kent Tiley's have serviced my car twice and i've never had any problem with them i fin d that they're very helpful

Why not drive up to Listers up the M5.

Pete Jackson is very good (used chief mechanic in works team when mcrae and burns was there) He will look after you and do a competitive price...

Have to say Tileys have been top guys with my P1 replacing the clutch at 10000 ish on warranty when i had not really noticed a fault?
Been very helpful with upgrading the car and Phil and the guys in workshops allways friendly and chatty!!
