Default Apple tv

Does this let the ipad connect wireless? So the Netflix app or a game would work on the tv ?

Yeah, you use airplay. You won't need to use the iPad for netflix though as the Apple TV has that app built in. You can just mirror your desktop from the iPad to the screen

And also through iPad and AppleTV you get console quality gaming so you can bin your Playstations and XBox's.

Some video apps work better than others, BBC iPlayer, VLC, YouTube and Netflix are superb. Some games need a fast connection, some come with AirPlay support. Music and Pictures are first rate.

I got a Roku LT for £39, allows me to watch Netflix, iPlayer, stream content from my iMac etc...

I tether to my Apple TV box from my I phone and it works great.

Get the Remote App to help set up, passwords are a bummer on the remote control.

Why do non of these devices support LoveFilm sky go doesn't work on them either apparently

Lovefilm is Amazon and I'm sure they are direct competition with Apple so they could be making it harder for them

The Sky/Roku box is in direct competition too, hence no Netflix.
