Blueyonder problems ?
#5
I'm assuming that your talking about the Broadband internet access ? Mines been fine this morning and this afternoon.
What Ip address do you have, is it a 169.xx.xx.xx ? Or is it a valid 62.30.xx.xx, can you collect emails, connect to ftp sites, etc. Have you tried rebooting the PC and the cable modem ?
Are all your lights on the modem locked on ?
Cheers Phill C

babber - Yep, broadband internet.
Only tried it this AM before coming to w*rk. Send/Receiving mail worked, MSN messenger worked, but not IE Rebooted and reset the modem, still the same. All lights functioning normally.
Will have another go at lunch, may be alright now.
Odd Maybe a problem with IE ?

DJ Dunk,
If all other services were working then sounds like an IE problem, router issue, cache problem, etc. What time did you check it this morning, was it early ? They sometimes do maintenance on the routers / servers in the early hours.
Anyway, it proves the RF portion of Broadband was working, as the other services were fine
Have you booked a fault ?
Cheers Phill C

Not booked fault cos I'm still at work (busy ). Will have a play about at lunch and see what happens Just thought I'd check to see if there were any major problems or alerts than I can't find out about because I can't get access to selfcare. Thanks

Chances are it will be the netapps webcache server which I am assured is going . Can't say what it is being replaced by but along with a couple to network upgrades blueyonder will have the better network infrastructure in comparison to the ADSL network.
