Hi all is this smart tv any good ,quite a good price for size and

Guy in currys says superb but ill ask around first ;been a 50hz will it be good enough for xbox ps3 sky and bluray

50hz is crap, probably see motion blur with consoles. You should be looking at 100hz as a minimum, ideally 200hz.

Look at Samsung/Panasonic alternatives, which you should be able to get a similar size at a similar or better price from Amazon etc.

I dont get it;it says 50hz near the picture of it ,but on the description further down it says screen 100hz so which is it

It says 50Hz in the advert, 100hz on the spec and 200hz on the lg web site so check it out first. Looks a great deal and great reviews here

I've got one. BRILLIANT tv. FWIW, I queried the rate with currys. They were also checking specs on the Internet...whilst in the shop..... The one site they were looking at was Argos

Very good for Xbox etc.

Check out the online reviews - all are pretty good.

But you do need to set the picture up - out of the box is too bright imho.

Oh yea for that reason alone I cannot invest in this thread, therefore I'm out.
